Scrubs are a godsend. I wasn’t going to write a post today, but after trying this body scrub by Kopari I was so satisfied I just had to share. I received it in my May Birchbox and not only does it smell amazing, the results were instant.
The Kopari Coconut Crush Scrub ($28) is made with the highest quality coconut oil to help hydrate skin and is mixed with brown sugar and tiny pieces of Tahitian coconut shell to buff and exfoliate. I put it on in the shower while already damp and could instantly feel the ingredients at work as I massaged it on. After rinsing off, my skin felt instantly smooth – and I’m not exaggerating here, it felt like I had just applied a body oil. My entire body felt completely hydrated and moisturized – I would definitely recommend this to anyone who’s in need of some rejuvenation.
Another scrub I have been using for the past two months is the Juara Radiance Enzyme Scrub ($38) for my face. I was face timing my mom the other day while I was out running errands and she remarked at how fresh and clear my skin looked – I wasn’t wearing any makeup, but let her know that I had just used this scrub that morning. This enzyme scrub is made for all skin types with ingredients such as Jojoba and Bamboo beads, Apple enzyme and cinnamon that help soften the skin and purify your pores. I generally leave it on for three minutes before rinsing off, and use it about twice a week. A great thing about Juara as a brand is that all of their products are 100% Vegetarian and are completely free of harsh chemicals and artificial colorants – they’re also sold at Credo!

I am going to try both! I know you said you purchase make up from drugstores but do you purchase face wash also? I have been using St. Ives, just want to see what your take is on those products. But I will definitely be trying these two scrubs for sure! :*
P.S. I wanted to comment give you some feedback. LOL
Hi Felicia! Thanks for reaching out 🙂
I definitely think drugstore skincare products are fine! I haven’t used St. Ives personally, but it seems they’ve received some great reviews. How is it working for you so far? How long have you been using it?
I think it’s really all about preference and your personal need. When it comes to a drugstore skincare brand that I know and love, it’s definitely Neutrogena — they have amazing products, especially facial scrubs. Some other drugstore skincare brands that dermatologists recommend are Olay, Biore, Yes To and Simple.
