Face Halo is an eco-friendly microfiber pad that removes makeup using solely water. I know, I was just as skeptical upon hearing about it, but when I saw some of my favs like makeup guru Jackie Aina singing it’s praises I knew I had to give it a try. The microfibers are designed to actually reach into your pours, lift and trap the makeup or dirt. Whereas a makeup remover wipe solely gets the surface level grime. See it in action below:

What also makes Face Halo amazing is the fact that each pad is reusable. Simply wash by hand right after each use and for a more thorough clean, pop it into the laundry machine once or twice a week. I can attest to the fact that this is the real deal. I hate having to use 2 – 3 makeup remover wipes just to get all of the product off of my face before cleansing, not only can it be annoying, but it’s wasteful! With the Face Halo, even if I am wearing more makeup than normal, using both sides of the pad will get ev-ery-thing. It’s nice to know that all of my makeup is fully removed, so my facial cleansers can get right to work and seep directly into my pores without any blockage.
I got the Face Halo – Pack of 3 ($22). At glance $22 may seem pricey, but that’s about $7 per halo and each one is actually made to withstand up to 200 washes. So these babies last for quite some time. I love finding new ways to save on how much I spend, especially when it comes to my vice — beauty products. I’d highly recommend giving Face Halo a try, I for sure know I won’t be going back to the old school way of makeup removal!
