This weekend I stopped by Target to stock up on a few beauty items I’d run low on and decided to browse the aisles for anything else that caught my eye. I’d been meaning to get a new body scrub and I was particularly drawn to the vibrant green Mayfair Soap Foundry Sugar Scrub in Sea Lily Jasmine ($8.99). I hadn’t previously heard of the brand but the packaging was great — very chic and simplistic, so I quickly took a look over the label and opened it up (sneakily) to take a whiff. It smelt so AH-MAZING that I wanted to grab two. However, this was the last one on the shelf, so I just knew it had to be a hit.
Since then I’ve been using the scrub for the past few evenings and my skin has felt heavenly. I’m actually tempted to go back and purchase the matching body cream because the aroma is just so soothing. What makes this even better is that after looking into the brand I found out that my purchase actually gave back to a good cause. For each Mayfair Soap Foundry product purchased, a donation is made to the Starlight Children’s Foundation to help improve the quality of life for kids and families around the U.S. experiencing difficult health challenges. It isn’t often you stumble upon a product that is not only beautiful but is used for the benefit of others.
The brand seems to have a relatively small product offering at the moment, but I look forward to keeping them on my radar to see what else they have in store for the future!
