Its that time of the year again where I find myself in layers and layers of clothing just to manage the walk to the train in the morning for work. The last thing on anyone’s minds is what exactly my feet look like, but this is the best time to really prep them for a flawless spring debut. Also, it’s cuffing season. Who wants to rub an ashy heel on their significant other while cuddling?
Aside from getting regular pedicures each month, I never really paid attention to the maintenance of my feet. Not to say that they’re bad — I’ve certainly seen worse, but I do wish they could be a bit softer on the soles and heels. You know, like when I was a baby. After reading about this product for months and seeing so many different testimonials on how AMAZING of a job it does to really get your feet super soft, I decided it was a good of a time to try Baby Foot ($25). Baby Foot is an at home foot peel with a unique formula of 17 types of natural extracts that allow your feet to exfoliate themselves naturally. It removes dead skin sells over the course of 1 – 2 weeks and is supposed to leave your feet feeling incredibly smooth.

I decided to try Baby Foot a little over 2 weeks ago and let me tell you, the results are exactly what they say on the website! What I did first was soak my feet for about 10 minutes before putting on the booties with the product in it. I let them stay on for an hour as directed, but for those who have more coarse feet with calluses it is recommended to let them stay on a bit longer. After the first two days I didn’t really see any change with my feet, so I almost forgot about even using it. On day three, that was when the fun started. (If you’re squeamish, this may get a bit graphic haha)
I noticed the skin around my toes began peeling first. It didn’t hurt at all and with a gentle rub the cells would fall off. The next day the bottom of my feet began to peel as well and it only picked up as the days went on. Eventually, the entire bottom of my foot was peeling away, even more so in the shower — I loved it!

Right now theres still some minor peeling on the top of my feet, but my soles are super soft. To help maintain this I also use the Bare Luxury 4 step treatment ($5.98), which helps sooth, refresh, invigorate and detox the feet.
I highly recommend both treatments. It feels good to pamper yourself, so why not do it from head, to toe?
