Birchbox is truly the easiest way to test out a variety of new beauty products and I highly recommend it for all beauty lovers. Here are my products for November!
Clinique Cream Shaper For Eyes ($16.50)

A.K.A. eyeliner, haha. I love when brands give a fancy name to very simple products. My phases with eyeliner go in and out, I’ll spend months not wearing it to achieve a more “fresh faced” look, and then I’ve have a phase where I’m obsessed with the seductive smokey eye. This came at the right time as I’m currently experiencing the latter. The Clinique Cream Shaper goes on smoothly and is water proof, so it doesn’t bleed throughout the day giving you raccoon eyes.
Marcelle New-Age LumiPOWER 3-in-1 Moisturizer ($26)

You can never have enough moisturizers—especially during this time of the year, and what makes this one by Marcelle even better is that it’s a 3-in-1. This particular moisturizer utilizes the benefits of a day cream, night cream and eye cream to give your skin a luminous glow. I also love that it is oil-free and light weight so it’s perfect to prime the skin before applying your makeup.
Oribe Gold Envy Luminous Face Mask ($95)

Another benefit of being a member of Birchbox is sometimes they send over splurge products that I probably would not have bought on my own. This month I got the Oribe Gold Envy Luminous Face Mask, which contains real gold particles and caviar lime to help even out skin tones. I’d of course need to use this more than once to see the full benefits, but if you’re up to shell out a little more $$$ I’d definitely recommend it.
Rene Furterer Lumicia Shampoo ($22) and Conditioner ($24)

I haven’t tried this shampoo and conditioner yet, but from the description it seems as though Rene Futerer takes an innovative approach to washing hair. Unlike traditional conditioners, Rene Furterer’s Lumicia doesn’t leave any residue and instead utilizes B5 and C vitamins to neutralize hard water buildup to give you hair a weightless finish and bounce. The shampoo utilizes these vitamins as well and couples them with Acerola extract to remove daily residue for a glossy finish.
Lavanila The Healthy Fragrance Pure Vanilla ($58)

So far since becoming a subscriber to Birchbox, I haven’t really liked any of the fragrances they’ve scent over. Fortunately this month, I actually really like Lavanila’s The Healthy Fragrance in Pure Vanilla. The eco brand provides a classically scented fragrance with notes of Madagascar vanilla, tonka bean and goji berry to make a delicious yet subtle aroma that I’d absolutely wear on a day-to-day basis.
