For my next attempt at styling natural hair, I decide to tackle the braid out! Needless to say, from looking at the photos, it was a tremendous success. After having tried twist outs as well, I feel that braid outs are more my jam. The definition they give is crazy and they actually look similar to my hair after a wash ‘n go. So, of course I had to put together a tutorial video for those of you who want to perfect this style. Enjoy!

I love hit thus looks!! Do you have to repeat the braid-out process everyday or is there a way to maintain it so it looks great for several days?
Hi Carol! I usually wear my hair in a satin lined bonnet when sleeping or lay on a satin pillowcase to help manage any frizz. This style generally lasts for me between 4 – 7 days before i re-wash / braid, depending on the look i’m going for!
