I do my best to highlight an array of skincare products for all needs on a regular basis. So it may seem as though I bounce around to different products, but that isn’t the case. Despite my very stocked beauty closet, I have a selection of tried and true go-to products that I swear by. Products that I use daily and weekly to achieve skin that I’m super proud of.
I’ve written about a few of them in the past, but this time I’m going to put everything in one place. So, get your notes ready, here are my all-time favorite skincare products:
Facial Cleanser
Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser ($18)
When it comes to a facial cleanser, I want something that is both gentle and effective. This Milky Jelly Cleanser by Glossier always gets the job done without irritating my skin. Because of the skin conditioners found in it, this cleanser never leaves my face feeling stripped or tight when I rinse it off.
Serum
Dr. Roebuck’s Perky Collagen Boosting Serum ($60)
I was actually introduced to this serum earlier this year and instantly fell in love. Since I have combination skin, hyaluronic acid (which is found in perky) is one of my go-to skincare ingredients. After cleansing, I put this on and almost immediately see the benefits. My skin now looks more supple and vibrant. Read the full blog post here.
Honorable Mention:
Dr. Barbara Sturm Hyaluronic Serum ($300)
I absolutely love this serum by Dr. Barbara Sturm, but as you can see by the price point, it isn’t very assessable. For that reason, it’s not a staple in my routine, but I have hopes that one day I’ll be ballin’ enough to make it one. This serum revived my skin and gave it the glow it has today. Eye-Cream
Biossance Squalane + Peptide Eye Gel ($54)
There’s a lot of debate about whether or not eye cream actually works. Well, when I used this one, it made me a believer. This eye gel by Biossance gets to work immediately, and when I put it on my skin I felt a tingling sensation. I’m very particular about my undereye area, and this one keeps it in tip-top shape. I’ve been a fan of it since 2017 when it first hit Sephora shelves. Back then it kept getting sold out and for good reason, I highly recommend it.
Facial Moisturizer
Ziaja Goat’s Milk Day Cream ($12.99)
I’ve written about how facial moisturizer is often overlooked but is the most important step in a skincare routine, so of course, I’m particular about the ones I use. This day cream by Ziaja is a favorite of mine because it really helps nourish my skin and retain moisture, especially in the winter months. It works well under makeup and doesn’t leave my face looking greasy or oily.
LXMI Pure Nilotica Melt ($15)
Shoutout again to my lovely mentee, Kiara, for putting me on to this one. This balm to oil moisturizer is a staple in my routine, especially in the winter. It can be used during the day or as an overnight mask. I prefer the latter because it does make my face look extremely shiny, but the thing is the next morning when I wake up–it’s as though I’ve had the best sleep of my life. My skin is more vibrant and hydrated after each use. Read the full blog post here.
Facial Mask
Glossier Mega Greens Galaxy Pack ($22)
I Instastory about this one all the time because I really want other people to experience its goodness. This detoxifying face mask does exactly what the label says and rejuvenates my skin. I usually use it on Sunday nights to give my face a refresh for the next week. But sometimes I’ll put it on if I have a new or budding pimple. The next day 9/10 the pimple is gone or much smaller than the day before. It’s my secret weapon.
There you have it, those are my all-time favorite skincare products. What are yours? Let me know in the comments!
