Bantu Knots are a style that used to intimidate the hell out of me. I always thought they were cute, but wouldn’t put in an effort to try them for myself. Until recently, when a brand I partnered with asked that I demonstrate a Bantu Knot out style in a video for them. I decided to brave it, and as I was doing the style, I realized they truly aren’t that bad!
So, for my latest natural hair tutorial, I decided that instead of doing a knot-OUT, that I’d simply style my hair in Bantu Knots that I can rock all week. The result? Super slicked, snatched knots perfect for these hot summer days we’ve been having.
The hardest aspect of the styling process honestly is getting the parts to be super straight. That’s something I’m still working on. But overall, the look came together really nicely.
I also got to test drive some new products I recently received from PATTERN Beauty by Tracee Ellis Ross and VERB.
I hope you enjoy!
