I’ve been so bored with my at-home manicures these days. I feel like over the years I’ve tried every color under the sun, and have been itching to get some nail art. Although salons are open, I still haven’t gotten my fingers done as of yet so I started looking into things I could do on my own. I came across nail wraps and coincidentally, nail artist and CEO of Scratch Nina Park reached out about giving hers a try!
Of the nail wraps I saw, Scratch had the most options that I knew I’d actually wear, so I was really excited to use them. Nail wraps are similar to nail stickers, but instead, they cover the entire nail. Molding to and “wrapping” your nail bed like a true polish. They can be applied to your real nails by themselves or over a polish, or on top of artificial nails, it really depends on your preference.
I’m pretty good at doing my own nails, but when it comes to art I get a little nervous. I didn’t want to miss-align the wrap and have it looking uneven, or accidentally rip it so I took my time. But honestly, after the first two I realized the application process wasn’t so bad at all!
What I love about the Scratch nail wraps is that they come with tools as well to help you file away the excess and smooth the wrap down so there aren’t any bumps. Also, the creator, Nina included a very detailed set of directions that made me feel even more confident in the process.
If you’re looking to refresh your manicure, I’d highly recommend giving nail wraps a try. Here are a few from Scratch that I love:
