I talk about journaling and its importance in the self-care process quite often, but for a lot of people, it isn’t so easy to simply pick up a pen, paper, and write. Especially if you’ve never been the journaling type. And journaling in my opinion doesn’t have to be one size fits all. We each have different goals and ways of expressing ourselves through writing.
There are some of us who can free-write and allow our thoughts to roam the pages, and for others prompts, themes or questions are much more effective. For those who fit into the latter, there have been a number of self-care journals that have popped up in recent years. Here are a few of the best one’s I’ve come across that are worth checking out as we set our intentions for the new year:
