Fall Tablescape Inspiration
You don’t need a full dining table to make a beautiful tablescape—we haven’t bought ours yet, so in the meantime, I’ll be putting our kitchen island to good use.
We’ve officially entered autumn, and I decided to put together this minimalist (and cozy) fall tablescape to inspire you for the season.
This particular tablescape design is pretty minimalist. Leaving space for food to be included as well and shared family style along the runner.
The key to having a fabulous tablescape is deciding on and sticking to a theme. And from there, finding likeminded items, whether new or from around your home to adorn it. Stick to similar colors, and play with shapes, and textures.
Utilize a centerpiece to guide you and add balance.
You can make your tablescape symmetrical, with the exact same items in the same spaces on either side of the centerpiece—or go for a more organic look with similar items of different shapes and sizes. The beauty is in the small details. So, go as full or as minimal as you’d like that fits your space and aesthetic.
I also want to emphasize that beautiful tablescapes don’t just have to be for special occasions and big gatherings. Why not make the simple moments special as well?!
If you’re trying a new recipe, or simply want to dress up your table for a typical dinner—do it! Life is meant to be lived and done to your liking!
Lastly, tablescapes don’t need to be expensive. These items all came from Target, Amazon, and CB2. Some are new and some I’ve had for a while in various parts of my home.
Romanticizing your life and your experiences doesn’t need to break the bank.
I hope this inspires you to give putting together fun and fabulous table decor a try yourself!
